A few people in the Beginners and Intermediate group have let me know that our practice today (Sunday 2/11) coincides with their plans to watch the Superbowl. Accordingly, we’re going to structure practice so that people missing tonight’s practice won’t be behind for next week’s lesson.
Whether you’re at practice or watching TV, have fun and be safe!
Beginner and Intermediate classes are now moved up to 6:30pm to 7:30pm. This schedule will be effective until March.
There will be no Open Fencing on Sundays until further notice. Wednesday open fencing will remain unchanged.
No Practice on Wed 11/22 or Sun 11/26 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Hi All,
Our Fall schedule is now in effect. Open fencing will start at 8pm.
Beginner and intermediate classes are meeting on Sunday at 7pm.
I am pleased to announce that we have revamped our program for 2023-24 to be more flexible for new members!
Fencing Club of Asheville is going to be starting Fall Beginner Classes starting on the following dates:
Each session will be its own 4 or 5 week class. You can RSVP by emailing me at this address, fencingclubasheville@gmail.com, with the name of each participant and age of non-adult participants. Once we hit a certain number of participants, we will close each month’s class. The minimum age for beginners classes is 10 years old.
We will offer Wednesday night classes again in the spring, but we had to move fall and winter classes to Sunday nights.
For more dates and other information please check out our beginners class page:https://fencingclubasheville.com/beginner-classes/

Cost is $40/month on top of membership. You must have your own gear.

This is a survey about the potential future of Asheville Fencing Club. We feel like we’re starting to reach the maximum of what we can achieve in our current practice situation and are starting to explore options. In doing so, we want to make sure to find something that will be able to serve the majority of our current membership.
Please complete this if you’re a current/recent fencer or parent of our club.
