Location: Asheville Catholic School in September 2024

Time: Class is Tuesdays 6:30pm-8:30 with open fencing and lesson availability 7:30-8:30.

Must have your own gear including electric for all weapons, in order to participate in the competitive class.

As with all FC Asheville classes, you can try Competitive Class once for free to test it out before having to begin payment.

Our Competitive Class is oriented towards students who have a desire to fence competitively in tournaments or are actively competing. We’ll cover a wide range of topics with a focus on physical fitness, footwork, tactics and strategy. It is ideal for people to have completed at least two cycles of our Intermediate class or equivalent (i.e., skills acceleration through private lessons), and to have already been actively fencing at our Open Fencing before considering joining Competitive Class.
