Fee Structure:
All payments (except annual dues for open fencing) are online and re-occurring through PushPress.
Beginner Foil class – $60 – An Introduction to Fencing for 4-5 weeks. Free USA Fencing Trial Membership must be emailed as a pdf to FencingClubAsheville@gmail.com. The first class is free, dues are due the second class. Please note that we are not taking new beginners in December or July.
Intermediate Foil class -$60 per month + $29 annual USA Fencing Access Level Membership – a class designed to be taken after the first beginners class and to prepare fencers for Open fencing in Foil (and Epee.) Fencers make take the intermediate class for a few months and move up to Open Fencing when they feel ready.
Open Fencing – $20 per month + $29 annual USA Fencing Access Level Membership – access to Open Fencing – For experienced fencers the first practice is free so please do come and check us out. In August and September a $200 per year annual membership is available.
Competitive Class – $60 per month. Fencers should already be attending Open Fencing; attended Intermediate class or have equivalent experience; and have their own electric fencing gear. The first class is free, dues are due the second class.
Sliding Scale/ Scholarship – If the above fees are cost prohibitive for you and you will not be able to fence due to the fees, we offer discounts based on financial need. Please email or talk to one of the coaches if this situation applies to you.
First time visit is free no matter what your experience level is.
